Around 5:50 a.m., Russia launched a ballistic missile into the center of Kyiv, Ukraine. The attack killed at least three people, two men and one woman, near the explosion site, and injured several others.
The attack also caused significant damage to water pipes and non-residential buildings in the area, as well as residential areas such as nearby high-rise apartments and residential areas. The Russian ballistic missile destroyed a subway station and the oldest McDonald's in Kyiv, which opened in 1997.
I went to the scene that day and saw the remains of the ballistic missile, as well as the civilians and the people who died in the attack, and cars that were horribly destroyed and burned by debris and flames.
At the same time, Russia fired missiles at infrastructure and residential areas in Zaporizhzhia, injuring 10 people and leaving 3 missing.
